A: Simply because every project is different in some way or another, be it the complexity of the project itself or the people you need to support your team in delivering the work.
Q: Really every project is different?
A: Essentially a project by its very nature is different from normal operations and therefore your approach to delivering it effectively needs to be different from how you would approach day to day operations. This is where Flex Projects can help because we have over 25 years experience in delivering work across a range of sectors and that proven ability to effectively deliver across those sectors has thought us how to be flexible in our approach to delivery as well as the importance of listening to the people on the front line that need to actually use and operate the finished product.
I founded Flex Projects and am based in New Plymouth, Taranaki.
I am a project manager with over 25 years of experience in both the marine and built environment with a passion for Fit for Purpose solutions. Over my career, I have worked on and run a wide range of projects ranging from the simple to the complex and in both the Front End and Execution.
Originally from Scotland I moved to New Zealand when our first child was born as my wife is a Kiwi. I have worked in a range of roles over my time and in various sectors showing that my adaptability and approach to problem solving means I can handle the transition to easily.
